Naturally Burnished Surface
Matte Low VOC Waterbase Poly
No, Mushroom Wood is not made out of mushrooms... Mushroom Wood is Reclaimed Hemlock, which has been used to build mushroom-growing bins in the fungiculture process - a practice that has been utilized oncommerical mushroom farms since the late 1800's.
The bins are filled with soil, compost, and decomposing wood to encourage mushroom growth - and they are constantly kept moist. This combination of organic matter, moisture, and the mushrooms' growth itself creates a natural enzyme which slowly dissolves the softer wood grain of the Hemlock, leaving the harder grain intact.
Once these maerials are salvaged, deeply cleaned, and gently brushed for smoothess, each board reveals a truly unique, deeply weathered surface, shaped entirely by nature.
NOTE: This material is suitable for walls & ceiling paneling, cladding, and box beams, etc. This is not a flooring material.

Installation Methods
Installation methods vary depending on wood format and site conditions, but here are some general guidelines:
- Solid or Engineered Mushroom Wood is typically isnbtalled with a "glue assist" method, which means that it is both nailed/stapled to its substrate (throught eh tongue & groove) with adhesive also applied for added adherence and stability.
