Vinegar Hill

General Assembly

Relocating from a large Victorian house in Echo Park CA, the owners of this space wanted as much character and natural materials as possible in the space, making reclaimed wood a natural fit.

After searching Brooklyn high and low for something that envoked the authenticity of their last home, the duo ended up with nearly the opposite - 2 penthouse units in a brand new development.

That's where General Assembly came in, filling the space with concrete wall and ceiling details, marble slabs in the shower and kitchen, plenty of custom Walnut millwork, and of course, beautiful reclaimed wood floors.

LV Wood's Hit Or Miss Reclaimed Oak was used as the main surface throughout the home, as well as for the custom stair case.
